Mark Hunt Drops Bombs On The UFC

A Sleeping Giant Awakens…

Fans of UFC Fighter Mark Hunt like that he is soft-spoken, humble, and confident.
However, the trumptastic drama of UFC 200 has awakened the proverbial “Sleeping Giant” Hunt to hurl very derisive accusations at both his employer and most recent adversary Brock Lesnar.

It is definitely rare that the self-confessed ‘Westie’ bloke loses his composure: the 41 year old MMA Titan is too busy setting up the highlight reel walk-off knockouts for which he is so revered.

Mark Hunt’s chill, IDGAF attitude is best exemplified  in his post-fight interviews in which he gave a shout-out to “Jesus, Lord and Savior” and then invited all of UFC ’85 to his hotel after-party.

Mighty Mark Hunt, the Super-Samoan  is never remiss in his quest to “knock…blokes out” and has regularly done so with precision and stoicism that is second to none in the UFC.

Heavy Handed Interviews

In spite of this, Hunt’s verbal assault on the UFC and on Brock Lesnar was as heavy handed in the interview with MMA Time as he is in the octagon. In fact, he’s all kinds of pissed. In a rambling, vehement interview he managed to call Brock Lesnar a “gimp” who “sticks needles in his ass.”

Hunt took issue with the fact that the last three opponents he fought have all tested positive for banned substances; going on to rail against what he views as widespread corruption in the fighters and the UFC.

It does seem strange that Brock Lesnar allegedly tested positive for the very same substance as Jon Jones and this revelation came out days after UFC 200.  Is Brock Lesnar too big to fail a drug test before one of the biggest cards in UFC history?

Hunt thinks so, and quipped:

““What upsets me about that is, I’m just thinking maybe they knew,” Hunt said: “Did they know about this? Is that why they’re not doing anything about it? Did they give this (deleted) fool an exemption for four months because they knew about this? Because, surely if they knew about this, they don’t give a rat’s about any of us.

Doesn’t it almost make sense?…It almost makes sense. UFC 200 would not be much of a card if they lost Jon Jones AND Brock Lesnar. It’s not my job to point fingers or engage in such sophistry.

Mark Hunt Hanging Out

Mark Hunt is usually chill.

Anyway, what’s next for the “Westie” Bloke? That’s one thing that UFC fans are wondering, as Hunt has voiced strong opinions about starting a fighter’s union in order to address concerns that he and other’s share about how the UFC treats the fighters.

Now that would be a game changer.
