Our Portland MMA Combat Athlete Program consists of a hybrid form of martial arts, which utilizes Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Submission Grappling, Russian Sambo, Freestyle and Greco Roman Wrestling, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Boxing, the proper way to strike from the ground as well as the most effective techniques from other styles of fighting. In our MMA training we also cover “no rules” scenarios, where we have to be adept at everything.

We strongly focus on the 4 major ranges of fighting… punching and kicking range, clinching range and on the ground. Our MMA CAP program covers every range and every possible scenario from each.

Our MMA Combat Athlete Program allows you to come to a blend of the following classes:

  • - Muay Thai Kickboxing
  • - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
  • - Submission Wrestling
  • - MMA
  • - Strength and Conditioning

The Portland MMA classes focus on the “sport” of mixed martial arts. It puts everything together. It integrates all of the martial arts that we teach at the academy while adhering to the rules of the sport of MMA.

The Portland MMA classes will exemplify how one martial arts transitions into the other. How striking can transition into grappling and how grappling can transition into striking. Through technique and situational drills, one will develop and learn how to utilize the right technique and select the best martial art for a given situation.

The MMA classes we offer are for those that wish to fight at the amateur and professional levels and for those that wish to fully train as fighters but do not want to compete.
